A6853: Music Theory 101: How to Make a Song People Will Like in Splash Fall 2018 (Dec. 01 - 02, 2018)
Ever wanted to make a song, but had no idea where to start? This class will go over basic chord progressions and improvisation techniques in pop music and jazz music, such as the 1-5-6-4 progression and the blues scale. At the end, students will be able to experiment with generating their own melodies and motifs using a digital keyboard.
