Brief Biographical Sketch:

I have a BS in pharmacy and a PhD in immunology, and have recently joined Stanford as a postdoctoral scholar (researcher). I have always been fascinated by the immune system, which is not just important for fighting infections but is more intrinsic to our healthy existence. From cancer to autoimmune diseases like arthritis, multiple sclerosis and diabetes, and from obesity to aging, the immune system is the crucial underpinning; the reign of our body that can take us to health or disease. I am currently examining therapies that can enhance the immune response to cancer (cancer immunotherapies) in mice and in patients.
