Brief Biographical Sketch:

I am from Long Island, New York. I enjoy writing poetry, short fiction, and drama. Some of my favorite writers are Sylvia Plath, Cathy Linh Che, Flannery O'Connor, and Khaled Hosseini. I've had work published in Canvas Literary Magazine, American Library of Poetry, Hanging Loose Press, and Creative Communications. I've workshopped my writing at both Columbia University and Stanford University. Other than writing, I love to dance and cook in my free time!

Learn about writing techniques that you can apply to your essay, poetry, novel, short story, or play. We'll examine point of view, role of voice, and language structure. Writing is important not only for the humanities, but for science, math, and technology! There will be short writing exercises.
