Brief Biographical Sketch:
We (Jessie and Peter) are students in the Management Science and Engineering program at Stanford. Both seniors, we have taken loads of business-related courses and are excited to teach smart kids skills for their futures. We have both worked for Stanford's Educational Program for Gifted Youth for the past few years and last year, we co-taught "Investigations in Business." We look forward to meeting you! Learn about personal finance for the next stages of your life- college and beyond! Students will learn college budgeting skills, insider tips for saving during college, and basic investing strategies for college kids. With hands on activities and advice from two Stanford financial engineers, students will leave with practical skills for future financial success!
H357: The Art of Negotiation in Splash! Spring 2009 (Apr. 04 - 05, 2009)
Whether convincing your mom to let you stay up later, or getting a local business to hire you as an intern, this is the place to learn the skills you need to become successful negotiator. The class will feature fun negotiating activities where you can test your newfound negotiating skills. For those of you interested in business, political science, and many other fields, this class is not to be missed!
