"Run, Forrest, run!" Love the actor Tom Hanks? Interested in modern United States history? Come explore different life-changing events that altered history as we know it today through the lens of the 1994 classic movie "Forrest Gump"! Following Forrest from the 50s to the 80s, we'll cover a wide range of historical markers -- some well-known and some overlooked -- spanning from the Vietnam War to Watergate to Ping-Pong Diplomacy and more! All the while, we'll watch clips of the movie in between! (You don't need to watch "Forrest Gump" beforehand to join.)
