Brief Biographical Sketch:

I'm currently a 4th year Bioengineering PhD student in a Materials Science and Engineering lab where we work on using biomaterials for drug delivery. I'm working on using novel materials to create improved insulin formulations for diabetes treatment. Before Stanford I went to the University of Toronto to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering and played defence on the Women’s Varsity ice hockey team. When not in the lab I enjoy riding my bike, reading, and baking.
