Brief Biographical Sketch:
I was born in Colombia. My family and I immigrated in 2009. I always cherished tight-knit communities and nature. These helped me as I grew older. I received a full ride to attend Stanford. I am now finishing an MS in Electrical Engineering and am applying to PhD programs. After I leave school, likely in the late 2020s, I want to leverage technology to help marginalized communities. I've been teaching and mentoring for a decade. Outside of school, I'm a big fan of latin-dancing, tree-climbing and karaoke. Picture has my nephew (right) and I (left).
